The Big Bang Theory

Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started. Wait...
The Earth began to cool,
The autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids),
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries,
That all started with a Big Bang!

If you can't tell already I started watching The Big Bang Theory.  It was the worst show in the world......"Bazinga." About 3 weeks ago I decided to dive in and start watching, it seriously scared the crap out of me.  It might have been because all the Star Trek jokes actually made sense to me or it could have been because I can actually relate to the nerds.... Well it actually didn't really scare me it actually made me laugh like crazy and allowed me to joke around with my family now that I know all the inside jokes. The show follows 4 nerds (Leonard Hofstadter, Sheldon Cooper, Howard Wolowitz, and Rajesh Koothrappali) who all work at the California Institute of Technology.  Leonard, Sheldon and Rajesh all have their PhD and Sheldon frequently reminds Howard that he is not a doctor yet only an engineer.  Things really change up there lives when a hot girl named Penny moves in to the apartment across the hall from Leonard and Sheldon.

Some of my favorite shows are where they have cameo appearances of Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher), Stan Lee, LeVar Burton (Geordi La Fore or Reading Rainbow), and Brent Spiner (Lieutenant Commander Data).  I am starting to wonder why Wil Wheaton is always the most terrible person in all these shows when Wesly Crusher was the most innocent child during the 80's. Hmmmm..... makes you wonder right? Also while watching look for the episode called, "The Einstein Approximation."  This episode made me laugh so hard that I literally had tears in my eyes after the surprising yet hilarious ending.  Sheldon always gets me with his form of expressing his sarcasm through one word..."Bazinga."

It's a great show about the relationships they go through, the new people they meet along the way, and some really nerdy things that happen.  I recommend putting The Big Bang Theory on your next shows to watch list.
Watch it because I have informed you thusly!

"Under normal circumstances I'd say I told you so. But, as I have told so with such vehemence and frequency already the phrase has lost all meaning.  Therefore, I will be replacing it with the phrase, I have informed you thusly."  -Dr. Sheldon Cooper

Mega Man X Strategy Guide

So here is the new dish on games... So over Christmas break my husband, Trent, and his main man, Nick Jensen, got together and made a Mega Man X Strategy guide since Mega Man X was just released on the Apple App store.  They were able to create the guide in about two weeks and then it took like another month to work through all the Apple legal issues with their company, Gimo Games.  So if anyone out there is interested in Mega Man then you should download the game on your iPhone or iPod and then if you get stuck (which you probably will) download their strategy guide by Gimo Games! It's a pretty organized strategy guide and really helpful in the game.  It was pretty fun to watch them create this app in two weeks and we are all pretty excited about it! So check it out it's worth it!

The Guild Day!

Okay Friends and Family I have started a new blog!

The real trick is if I can find the motivation to blog on the reg.... Well in other words this blog is going to be about Games, Movies, TV Shows and other things that I want to have an opinion about (GMTV and More).  So I thought it would be great to start out with the great show called The Guild.  For those who have never seen it they are little five minute episodes that are about a guild (or group of people that game together on a team through online games). With Felicia Day as Cyd Sherman (or gamer name Codex) who is the guilds healer. She desperately struggles with her gamer world, real world, and crazy guild members after meeting them all in person.
I have spent all day watching The Guild seasons 1-4 while doing some things on the side since I've seen them all about 3 times.  I rate this show... Pretty awesome. It's interesting with all it's different plot twist that are about every ten minutes and the lively and very different characters with only one thing in common... the game.  The members of the guild consist of Vork, Clara, Tink, Bladezz, Zaboo, and Codex.  There guild name is called the Knights of Good (real original).  According to me....Vork is unemployed and 100% dedicated to the game which is why he is the Guild Leader.  Clara is a gaming mother who neglects her family for the game.  Tink is a super moody college girl that is very superficial.  Bladezz is a high school boy who is pretty much hitting puberty.  Zaboo is a very sheltered love sick kid that is always trying to impress Codex, and Codex is a gaming girl who is fighting her reality between the gaming world and the real world.
It's very entertaining to watch the nonsense babbling and the game referencing clashed with the real world. So if you have about 6-7 hours to kill get on Netflix and watch the first 4 seasons or go to the website and watch all 5 seasons. Or if you just have 5 minutes get on their website and watch one episode. I highly recommend you waste some of your time with this fun show!  Get to The Guild!
